Legendary piano balladeer BILLY JOEL is about as synonymous with Madison Square Garden as the Knicks or the Rangers, having played over 40 shows there, including a record setting 12 sold-out shows in a row in 2006.

Now, he’s getting his own franchise; starting in January, JOEL will perform a concert at MSG every month as long as there is demand. Needless to say, we’re looking at a pretty long residency.

So far, five dates have been announced, including a 65th birthday bash scheduled for May 9th, with additional announcements to be made in the future.
