BLACK LABEL SOCIETY have confirmed their ninth album will be called Catacombs Of The Black Vatican, and it’s due for launch via Mascot Label Group on April 7.

The long-awaited follow-up to 2009′s The Order Of The Black comes after the departure of mainman Wylde’s ‘Evil Twin’ Nick Catanese, who’s been replaced by Lizzy Borden axeman Dario Lorina.

BLS recently said: “We have amicably parted ways with Nick, and wish him the very best in his future musical endeavours.”

Borden took the loss of his guitarist in good grace, saying:

“We’re extremely proud and happy for Dario. I know Zakk, his band and their fans are going to love him as we all do. He will always be one of us and we wish him all the luck in the world.”
