YES working on NEW ALBUM
17 January 2014YES are in the studio working on a new album.
The band posted a photo (above) from the sessions in Los Angeles with producer Roy Thomas Baker.
The project will be the first with singer Jon Davison, who joined the lineup in 2012.
The band’s last album was 2011′s 'Fly From Here', which featured Benoit David on vocals.
YES have been busy promoting 'Cruise To The Edge', which sees the band and several others sailing to the Caribbean in early April. Among the artists performing on the trip are Marillion, Steve Hackett of Genesis Revisited, Queensryche and Tangerine Dream featuring Edgar Froese.
The band warm-up for the cruise with a 10-date Canadian tour.
The current live show sees YES performing three albums – 1971's 'The Yes Album', 1972's 'Close To The Edge' and 1977's 'Going For The One' – from beginning to end.
Canadian dates begin March 19 in Victoria, BC and run to April 2 in Hamilton, ON.
