SLAYER's JEFF HANNEMAN snubbed by Grammy Awards
27 January 2014Every year, the Grammy Awards pay tribute to the musicians and industry folks who passed away during the previous year.
Last night the "In Memoriam" segment featured a ton of deserving artists, but notably excluded was late SLAYER guitarist JEFF HANNEMAN.
It's rather pathetic that he wasn't honored; but his exclusion is particularly egregious considering HANNEMAN and his SLAYER bandmates previously won two Grammy Awards.
For what it's worth, former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr was also excluded from the tribute.
Perhaps the Grammys thought it was sufficient to list both Hanneman and Burr on their website?
