After disbanding in 2001, college rock vets AFGHAN WHIGS have recently been rumbling around the country playing reunion shows, including most notably an unannounced duet with Usher at South by Southwest in 2013.

Now, Greg Dulli and the band have announced their official return with their first new album in 16 years.

Do To The Beast is the name of the record that will contain nothing but brand-new songs. The title is most likely inspired by the work of Aleister Crowley. It will be released on April 14th via Sub Pop, the record label that got them on the map back in 1990 when they released Up In It, produced by Jack Endino.

Do to the Beast
is the band's first album since 1965 released in 1998 on Columbia.
