THE SCORPIONS Cover DIO Classic For TRIBUTE ALBUM
06 February 2014THE SCORPIONS are recording a cover of the RAINBOW classic, 'Temple Of The King', which will be part of the upcoming Ronnie James Dio tribute album.
"We are taking two days out of our tough schedule and recording that song," guitarist Matthias Jabs tells Classic Rock Revisited.
Ronnie James Dio died of stomach cancer on May 16, 2010 at the age of 67.
The project will feature artists performing tracks from the singer's extensive catalog, including material originally released by Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Dio.
