Guitarist JOHN FRUSCIANTE remains rather prolific in his post-Red Hot Chili Peppers years.

The axeman has just completed his latest album, ‘Enclosure,’ which is now on schedule for an April 8 release.

FRUSCIANTE says in a message at his website, ”Enclosure,’ upon its completion, was the record which represented the achievement of all the musical goals I had been aiming at for the previous five years. It was recorded simultaneously with Black Knights’ Medieval Chamber, and as different as the two albums appear to be, they represent one investigative creative thought process. What I learned from one fed directly into the other. ‘Enclosure’ is presently my last word on the musical statement which began with [2012's] ‘PBX.’”

‘Enclosure’ will be released by Record Collection and FRUSCIANTE is giving fans an early taste of new music.

The song ‘Scratch’ is currently available as a free download via FRUSCIANTE’s website - here.

‘Scratch’ was penned during the sessions for Frusciante’s 2009 album, ‘The Empyrean,’ but wasn’t recorded until the sessions began for the new album. In addition to his solo work, Frusciante has recently been working with Omar Rodriguez-Lopez on the new band Kimono Kult.
