With a headline appearance at the massive Glastonbury Festival already confirmed for later this year, details for the fifth full-length studio album from KASABIAN are starting to emerge.

The follow up to 2011’s Velociraptor, the album is called 48:13, which just so happens to be the run time of the disc.

The album will feature thirteen new tracks and is currently set for release in the United Kingdom in early June (no word if the album will see a US release at this time).

Primary songwriter/lead guitarist Sergio Pizzorno has shared that the band “…had the confidence to be more direct, more honest with this album. I started to strip away layers rather than to just keep adding.”

In addition to a tracklist (which you can check out down below) the band just debuted the albums first single, eez-eh. While the lyrics sung by vocalist Tom Meighan tend to be a bit silly (thanks for the reminded that Google is watching us all), the song is without a doubt the most electronic-tinged release since the bands breakthrough self-titled first album.

You can check it out down below.
