Settling lawsuits isn’t the most exciting way go go through a chunk of cast that large, but that’s just what Courtney Love did with the money she received after Kurt Cobain‘s death in 1994.

“I know that’s a lifetime of money to most people,” she said to Sunday Style last weekend. “But I’m a big girl, it’s rock ‘n’ roll, it’s Nirvana money, I had to let it go.”

But don’t worry that the former Hole singer is hurting for cash.

“I make enough to live on,” she said. “I’m financially solvent, I focus on what I make now.”

Love is also likely to be have more money coming in the future, with the recent resurgence of both her acting and music career, as well as talks about a possible Kurt Cobain biopic.
