Veteran soul and funk group EARTH, WIND & FIRE have reworked their 1978 disco anthem September for a new holiday album.

The veteran hitmakers have re-titled the track December for the new release, Holiday, which will compete in the Christmas charts with albums from the likes of Idina Menzel, Darius Rucker and Leann Rimes.

Holiday will be released on October 21 and it will also feature the group's renditions of classic tunes Winter Wonderland, Sleigh Ride and Joy to the World. The collection will also feature Happy Seasons, a holiday-tinged version of their 1975 album track Happy Feelin'.
