SOUNDGARDEN‘s long touring cycle behind their last album King Animal is finally coming to a close early next year. For all we know, that seems to be as good a time as any for them to start making some new music again. What we weren’t quite expecting this Monday morning, was a new SOUNDGARDEN song, titled Storm, posted to their YouTube channel without much warning at all.

A little bit of digging shows that the song actually comes from a 1985 session that was recently uncovered by producer Jack Endino. The band then re-recorded it, and what you’ll hear down below is its new, polished version, for the first time ever.
