YouTube Pens Huge Deal With Warners

Warners will show music videos, artist interviews, original programming and behind the scenes footage through YouTube.
YouTube – which shows a massive 100million videos a day – will also be using archive footage from the label.
Both parties will share the revenue gained through advertising showing the footage.
It seems Warners’ attitude differs directly to that of fellow label giant Universal.
As Reuters reports, Universal labelled both YouTube and Myspace as вЂcopyright infringers’ for screening videos. It also alleged the sites owed the music industry вЂtens of millions of dollars.’
