Two and a half years after MUSE released their sixth LP The 2nd Law, there’s still a bittersweet taste to that album. While it had some of their best songs to date, it also dragged on and contained inexcusable, horrific filler tracks. Now, with their new record Drones announced and scheduled for release on June 8th, the band have unveiled its first single, Psycho. Except it’s not a fully new track, but an entirely fleshed-out version of an old jam.

The riff that carries Psycho has been played live by the band for over fifteen years now, usually at the end of Stockholm Syndrome, and was referred to as “0305030” until now.
