OZZY Invites BILL WARD to Play BLACK SABBATH Farewell Concert
24 March 2015The world will say farewell to BLACK SABBATH this fall when the iconic metal band plays their last ever show when they headline Ozzfest Japan outside of Tokyo.
The original lineup of Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, and Tony Iommi are all set to perform, assuming that Iommi, who has been getting cancer treatments, is in good health. Osbourne has reportedly extended an olive drumstick to the band's ex-drummer Bill Ward, who pulled out of the reunion tour due to financial disputes.
There's no confirmation yet if Ward will take up Osbourne's offer and play the November 22 concert. In addition to getting ready for their last live show, the band is also supposedly still working on a follow-up album to 13, produced by Rick Rubin.
