The International Day Of Slayer will be taking place for the tenth time on Saturday, June 6, having started on 06/06/06 (when else would it have started, right?).

Listen to Slayer at full blast in your car. Listen to Slayer at full blast in your home. Listen to Slayer at full blast at your place of employment. Listen to Slayer at full blast in any public place you prefer.

As previously reported, with the title and release date just announced for SLAYER’s Repentless, due out September 11th (Nuclear Blast), today the thrash icons announce their heaviest release ever, literally - Repentless Metal Eagle Edition.

Made of aluminum alloy, measuring 15” X 17” X 3” and weighing in at a hefty seven pounds, the Metal Eagle Edition will house a deluxe digipak of the new Repentless CD plus exclusive bonus content to be detailed soon. The limited (only 3,000 copies worldwide) and numbered Metal Eagle Edition will be a direct-to-consumer item and available exclusively via the Nuclear Blast mailorder online stores.

In the eerie YouTube clip below, SLAYER announced the first details of the band's 11th album and first new effort since 2011's Grammy-nominated World Painted Blood.

Repentless, which marks the first SLAYER release without Jeff Hanneman - was produced by Terry Date and features bassist/vocalist Tom Araya, guitarist Kerry King, and returning drummer Paul Bostaph, along with touring guitarist Gary Holt.
