Lady Gaga loves rock n' roll and don't you ever forget it. On June 20, she made a surprise appearance at New York City's Gramercy Theater with NYC rock revivalists the DIRTY PEARLS with Bulgarian born bass player PERCY TRAYANOV.

With the Pearls handling most of the vocals, Gaga covered Van Halen's hit song 'Panama' from their album 1984. Check out the video below, as a stagehand grabs a drink for Gaga before she jumps into the song around the two-minute mark. Gaga did just fine in the early 2010s, but we think she could have fit in pretty well in, say, 1987, too.

Gaga
name checked the Dirty Pearls in her Born This Way song 'Heavy Metal Lover': "Dirty Pearls and a patch for all the Rivington Rebels / Let's raise hell in the streets drink beer and get into trouble."

The New York-based rockers have played a bunch of her after parties, too, along with her DJ, DJ Lady Starlight, who is also a friend.
