TOTO presented with plaques honoring 40 million Worldwide sales

Last night backstage at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, Sony Music surprised the members of TOTO with brand new plaques honoring that they have now sold over 40 Million albums worldwide.
“Unreal...40 million albums over almost 40 years Thank You Sony and what a surprise,” remarked Steve Lukather. “Thanks to the fans worldwide!”
“Thank you Sony and thank you to everyone that has supported us all these years,” added David Paich. “Without you, none of this would be possible. We are all so grateful!”
TOTO’s highest selling album is Toto IV, released by Columbia Records in 1982. The album went triple platinum in the US on the strengths of singles “Rosanna” and 'Africa'.
TOTO are currently on a co-headlining tour with YES.
