RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS bassist is now a beekeeper
17 August 2015Jack White collects taxidermy, Dave Mustaine is a ninja, Damon Albarn is really good at ping pong. Now comes word of another of your favorite musician’s unique hobby.
According to TMZ, Flea is now a beekeeper. The Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist recently installed three beehives into his backyard, each containing 60,000 honeybees.
Flee’s new-found hobby was inspired by his concern for the environment, as the honeybee population is dying off at an “unheard of” rate.
