DANZIG has enlisted TYPE O NEGATIVE's Kenny Hickey as the group's new guitarist. Hickey joins drummer Johnny Kelly as the second TYPE O NEGATIVE member to join DANZIG's touring lineup.

DANZIG will perform a dozen West Coast "Blackest of The Black" live dates in November alongside LACUNA COIL, THE HAUNTED, BELPHEGOR and ASESINO. "This is sort of an experiment for me to see if I can deal with doing two or three shows and flying home afterwards," Glenn Danzig said. "If this works, then maybe more live shows for DANZIG could be in the future."

DANZIG recently shot a video for the song "Crawl across Your Killing Floor" outside of Los Angeles. The track will be included on the upcoming "Lost Tracks of Danzig" collection, a two-CD set of previously unreleased DANZIG tracks spaning the band's entire career — from the 1988 self-titled debut to the present. A November release is expected.

Glenn Danzig's long-awaited "Black Aria II" CD, the follow-up to the original "Black Aria" (1993), was released on September 19. The album, the material for which has apparently been written for five years, is a classical, operatic piece based on Lilith, the mythological first wife of Adam, according to Danzig. "It's different from the first record but similar in a lot of ways," he said.
