PEARL JAM performs PINK FLOYD’s ‘Comfortably Numb’ for first time
13 November 2015Eddie Vedder and his bandmates in PEARL JAM tackled a rock classic Wednesday night in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It was reportedly the first time the Seattle band had ever played PINK FLOYD’s 'Comfortably Numb' in concert.
In the video, captured by a fan with a mostly steady hand, Vedder steps aside as guitarist Mike McCready rips into one of rock music’s most famous solos. Can you spot the flourishes McCready adds to the original?
PEARL JAM’s tour of Latin America continues through November and includes mega-venues such as the massive Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
