Swedish rockers GHOST picked up their first Grammy Award in the Best Metal performance category for 'Cirice', the lead single from 'Meliora', at the 58th annual event in Los Angeles on Monday.

"Hello, we are GHOST," - said frontman Papa Emeritus III in the pre-show ceremony. "Thank you so much for this. This is a big, big thing for us, obviously. And, you know, a nightmare has just turned into a dream. So thank you all for that. Thank you, everybody involved, and thank you for voting."

'Cirice' earned top prize over tunes by SLIPKNOT ('Custer'), LAMB OF GOD ('512'), SEVENDUST ('Thank You') and AUGUST BURNS RED ('Identity').

'Meliora' delivered GHOST their first-ever US Top 10 when the album debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 8 with opening week sales of 29,000 copies. Read more here.
