Radio TANGRA MEGA ROCK together with the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy of the Bulgarian Academy of Science are delighted to invite all our fans to the highest altitude ROCK concert ever held in Europe.

Join us on Saturday, July 30th, on the 'MOUSALA' summit (2925 m) to enjoy the music of D2 and ODD CREW live.

This one-of-a-kind concert will take place 40 m below the peak, on the south-west slope of the mountain, as part of a large-scale campaign to free the mountain summit from construction debris. Dozens of volunteers are expected to join in and support this noble cause.

Keep an eye out for more details on the official Facebook event and on www.RadioTangra.com.

This concert will no doubt be the high point of TANGRA MEGA ROCK’s 10th Anniversary celebrations!

We all hope that the cleanup of the construction debris from this unique spot will be the first of many steps in a long-term national campaign to promote 'MOUSALA' not as a “tourist destination” but as the natural environment that deserves special regard and respect from all.

In order to not disturb the wild animals and the natural habitat where they live and mate, the volume of the music will be kept to appropriate levels.

The sound will be directed towards the audience in an amphitheatre-like disposition on the slope to the top.

D2 and ODD CREW are two of Bulgaria’s most popular bands and many of their fans are involved with the mountain preservation movement.

Last but not least, let us not forget that before being called 'MOUSALA', the peak had the proto-Bulgarian name 'TANGRA'.

All details regarding the cleanup, map of the area, meeting points for volunteers, and all other information will be posted next week.

Don’t miss the historic concert above the clouds, July 30th on the majestic 'MOUSSALA'
