GUNS N’ ROSES reunion tour earns $117 million
12 September 2016GUNS N’ ROSES' Not In This Lifetime North American summer stadium tour grossed $116.8 million, according to a new report by music industry magazine Billboard.
The reunited trio of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan sold more than 1 million tickets as they performed 25 concerts in 21 stadiums over the 9-week run.
The band played two dates each at Chicago’s Soldier Field, Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium, East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, with the New Jersey shows posting the top box office take of $11.6 million from 100,177 fans; the other three venues each delivered more than $8 million in revenue.
The Not In This Lifetime tour will visit South America next month before starting off 2017 with dates in Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
