Swedish hard rockers GHOST have unveiled an extremely catchy new song titled 'Square Hammer,' which you can hear above. The track will be featured on their upcoming Popestar EP, which will be released on Sept. 16

The group, which conceals its real identities via makeup and masks in the tradition of KISS and SLIPKNOT, includes singer Papa Emeritus III and his backing 'Nameless Ghouls.'

During an interview on SiriusXM Octane today, one of those ghouls said of the new song, “We’re very proud of it. We’re obviously thrilled to be able to play something new. This is a short, to-the-point little gem [aimed] right at the jugular.”

The group’s most recent album, 2015’s Meliora, earned them a Grammy for Best Metal Performance for the song 'Circle.'

GHOSTs 2016 Popestar North American tour kicks off this weekend in Rochester, N.Y.
