Pirates of the Caribbean 5 debuts first trailer—watch

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales showed off its first trailer today during AMC's Fear The Walking Dead. This will be the fifth installment in the Pirates of Caribbean franchise with the fourth movie being released in 2011.

This trailer was fans first look at the anticipated film that already had its released date pushed from July of 2017 up to May, making it one of the first movies of blockbuster season.

Dead Men Tell No Tales will feature Johnny Depp returning to the familiar role of Captain Jack Sparrow and Orlando Bloom will return as Will Turner. Bloom was not present in the fourth film, On Stranger Tides.

Disney also released a teaser poster for the film today ahead of the trailer's debut.
