Gert Hof, the creator of the mind-blowing light and pyroeffects ot Rammstein’s concerts, will do the light-show on Battenberg square in Sofia on the occasion of New Year and Bulgaria’s accession to the EU.  

Hof arrives in Sofia with impressive technical equipment and promises to create a breathtaking spectacle. Organiser of the show from Bulgarian side is Sofia Music Enterprises (SME), which provides the technical preparation. The lights and the pyroeffects will be set up on the parliament’s building on the square, inform SME.

Besides for Rammstein, Hof has worked for Scorpions, Motorhead, Einsturzende Neubauten, Lou Reed and Mike Oldfield.

Hof has also done light shows, ordered by various governments, including the millennium party on the Acropolis in Athens, the shows in Berlin and Beijing on the same occasion; an event, organised by the Australian government in memory of the soldiers, fallen in the battle for Gallipoli in WWI; the Day of Moscow, as well as several projects of the European Commission.В
