One of the cult British bands JESUS AND MARY CHAIN, will reunite under a new name.

The principal musicians in the band, the brothers Jim and William Reid, as well as Ben Lurie will release an album in March under the name Sister Vanilla. The album will be called “Little Pop Rock” and the songs will be sang by the sister of Jim and William – Linda Reid.

MARY CHAIN released their last album, “Munki” in 1998. Their music influenced modern rock bands like  My Bloody Valentine and Dinosaur Junior.
