In February will be published the book “A Vulgar Display of Power: Courage and Carnage at the Alrosa Villa”, exploring the life and mostly the death of the legendary guitarist of Pantera and Damageplan DIMEBAG DARRELL, who was shot onstage by Nathan Gale in 2004.

The book is written by Chris A. with a foreword by the police officer James Niggemeyer – the man who shot Gale and put an end to the carnage on December 8, 2004 in which besides Dimebag and Gale, were killed three others and wounded two more.

The book has been meticulously researched and for 14 months the author has personally interviewed and corresponded with hundreds of people involved. The book is augmented by 240 photos, most never published.

According to “Metal Hammer”, “A Vulgar Display of Power: Courage and Carnage at the Alrosa Villa” is a mix of rock ‘n’ roll history, part true-crime and part biography and one needn't be a metal fan to find it interesting.
