Sofia hardcore act EXPECTATIONS has posted the following message to the official Facebook page:

We’ve been pretty quiet for some time now, but today is the day we want to share some news with you.

We spent 2016 doing other stuff both musically and non-musically. To be honest we really were not sure if this band would be ever active again. At the end of the year we started rehearsing for the single show we were going to play in 2016. The talks we had made us realize that this band must continue its journey one way or another. After the amazing show we played last December one thing was sure – it wasn't going to be the last one.

So here is the first announcement – Danio and Ivaylo are no longer part of the band. We are really thankful for all they've done, for all the hard work and dedication they've put through the years in playing shows and writing music with us. They have a new band and it’s an awesome one – you might be able to hear something from them in 2017. We love you guys and we wish you all the best!

With that said we are happy to announce that Expectations will be joined by two great guys – Georgi Yocov on drums and Teodor Tsvetkov on guitars. We have already started writing songs for an upcoming release and we are more than happy how the new stuff sounds! In 2017 we probably won’t do a real tour, but we are already talking about it and you should expect us in most of Europe’s major countries in 2018!

The final thing we want to share is that we have managed to book some weekend shows and fests for this spring. Check out the poster and come hang if we are coming to your city!
