The "Gothenburg sound" godfathers Dark Tranquillity shall release their new album, "Fiction", on April 23 via Century Media Records. Critics compare the Swedish sextet's forthcoming offering to "a modern-day version of the group’s revered classics "The Gallery" and "The Mind’s I", only with more intensity behind it."

The CD shall consist of 10 songs, two of which ("Focus Shift" and "Misery's Crown") shall be filmed for promo videos. The first one is already to be heard at Dark Tranquillity's official MySpace profile.

"Fiction" shall hit the stores with two versions - the regular one, and a limited edition CD with a bonus DVD with live songs, behind-the-scene footage, the "The New Build" promo video and the brand-new "Focus Shift" clip.
