GUNS N’ ROSES to Play Africa

Guns N’ Roses have been announced as the headliners of this year's My Coke Fest in the South African Republic. This will be the band's first show in Africa ever. Axl Rose and his band and will perform twice - in Johannesburg on April 27, and in Cape Town on May 1.

Other acts confirmed for the African festival so far include Evanescence and Hoobastank. Last year’s edition of the event saw Metallica play on the continent for the first time.

And just for the record - the latest release date Axl Rose has set for Guns N’ Roses' new album "Chinese Democracy" is in March 2007...
