Satellite Party, the new project by former Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, has made its first single, "Wish Upon a Dog Star", available for online streaming. Check it out here:

The track comes off Satellite Party's debut album, "Ultra Payloaded", due on May 15 via Columbia Records. Joining Farrell are guitarist Nuno Bettencourt (ex-Extreme), Kevin Figg (drums), Carl Restivo (keyboards and bass), and Perry's wife Etty Lau Farrell on backing vocals. The CD also features guest appearances by Flea and John Frusciante of Red Hot Chili Peppers (on the songs "Milky Ave." and "Hard Life Easy"), Peter Hook of New Order, Thievery Corporation and even Fergie of Black Eyed Peas.
