One of Swedens heaviest metal bands of all time, the Scandinavian doom metal godfathers Candlemass, shall celebrate their 20th anniversary with a huge party at Stockholm's Kolingsborg on March 31.

The band shall perfom live with three different vocalists - Johan Langquist (who sang on the album "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus"), Tomas Vikstrom (to be heard on "Chapter VI"), and the group's brand-new frontman, Mr. Robert Lowe (ex-Solitude Aeturnus) who replaced Messiah Marcolin. Besides, there'll be a special guest DJ at the party, namely Lee Dorrian (Cathedral, ex-Napalm Death) himself.

Meanwhile, in February, Candlemass shall start recording their next studio album. Its title shall be "King of the Grey Islands", and its preliminary release date has been set to June 22 via Nuclear Blast Records.
