SAXON’s Singer Publishes Autobiography
08 February 2007"Saxon - Never Surrender (Or Nearly Good Looking)" is a book by the British heavy metal veterans' charismatic vocalist Biff Byford, in which he tells his story - from his working class childhood as a terribly shy schoolboy in Yorkshire, through the mega-days of the early 80's, to the band’s 21st century rise to fame once more.
The book has been written by Biff and John Tucker - a music writer and photographer with a keen interest in heavy metal. His first book, "Suzie Smiled... The New Wave of British Heavy Metal", was published in 2006.
The autobiography will be published in April 2007 via I. P. Publishing.
