Metallica are putting the finishing touches to the pre-production of their eagerly awaited new album. The band shall enter studio on March 12 to start the recordings with producer Rick Rubin.

A break from the work is also planned already: The quartet intends to travel to Europe in the end of June for two or three weeks in order play at summer festivals.
