Iron Maiden shall be the first famous metal band to play live in India. Bruce Dickinson & Co. shall perform on March 17 on the spectacular grounds of Bangalore's Palace.

Iron Maiden's new album, "A Matter of Life and Death", reached No. 2 in the Indian album chart after debuting at No. 4, which is believed to be the highest chart position in India ever for any rock act.

Iron Maiden announced that they'll do 12 concerts until the summer. Before India, on March 9, the band shall perorfm at the Desert Rock Festival in Dubai, UAE, and in July they'll play at the Download Festival in the UK and at the Dutch Fields of Rock Festival.
