Bassist Bruce Foxton and drummer Rick Buckley are set to undertake the first UK tour under the name The Jam in May. It will be the first time any configuration of the group has toured for 25 years. The band, who also feature vocalist Russell Hastings and guitarist/keyboardist David Moore, are also planning to follow the tour with the release of new material.

Speaking about the absence of original frontman Paul Weller (on the photo), drummer Rick Buckley said: "Paul has a fantastic solo career and is one of the UK's most talented songwriters. He is always welcome to join us for the reunion, but until then, we've got a new tour and a new album to do."
