FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE’s new drummer, David Folchitto, has already won us over. While playing a gig in Bogota, Columbia, the percussionist was facing serious illness, but kept playing even while violently vomiting behind his kit.

The Italian death metal masters played Bogota’s Metal Alliance Fest on Oct. 27 alongside SEPTICFLESH, BROKEN HOPE and more. Taking over drums for Francesco Paoli, who recently moved back to his original position as vocalist, Folchitto has shown he’s got what it takes to be a true road warrior. The drummer almost made it through FLESHGOD’s full set before blowing chunks, but continued on despite losing his lunch.
