PORTISHEAD Made a Surprising Live Return
28 February 2007Portishead made a surprise unannounced return to the live stage on Sunday night, February 25, at the small music bar Mr. Wolfs in Bristol, England. It was the reclusive band's first live appearance since 2005's Tsunami Benefit Show.
Band members Geoff Barrow, Adrian Uttley and Beth Gibbons surprised both gig-goers and venue staff with a short set which included Portishead classics as well as brand-new untitled tracks.
The band have not released a studio album since their 1997's self-titled CD, but hopefully the time for Portishead's third full-length effort shall come soon...
