Before Cars - the new band featuring former Nirvana drummer Chad Channing, who was Dave Grohl's predecessor and played on the Seattle trio's 1989 debut "Bleach" - will release a vinyl single on March via Flotation Records. The record, which features the tracks "Old Chair" and "99 To Go", is limited to 500 copies and can be ordered via www.flotationrecords.com.

Chad Channing, who is responsible for the lead vocals, rhythm guitar and drums in Before Cars, has also launched a MySpace profile at www.myspace.com/beforecars.
