Insision bass player Daniel Ekeroth has recently published a book about the Swedish death metal scene during the last two decades via his own publishing house, Tamara Press.

Entitled "Swedish Death Metal" (view front cover above), the 480 pages of the book offer a complete history of the development of the local extreme scene, an A-Z of Swedish death metal bands, 500 pictures and 30 interviews, a.o. with Johan Edlund of Tiamat, Fred Estby of Dismember, Ola Lindgren of Grave, Kristian Wahlin of Grotesque, Fredrik Karlen of Merciless and many more.

Surprisingly, "Swedish Death Metal" has reached the top position on the AdLibris Sales Charts in Sweden for the month of February for non-fiction books in a foreign language. According to Daniel Ekeroth, "AdLibris is Sweden's biggest retailer of books, and the fact that an underground project like this can hit the No. 1 spot is just amazing! If the rush continues, the book will be sold out in a month."
