LORDI Triumphed at Finland's Emma Awards

Last year's Eurovision winners - the masked Finnish "monster metallers" Lordi - won every category they were nominated for at the 21st Emma Awards ceremony. Finland's equivalent of the Grammys was held on Saturday, March 10, in the capital Helsinki, where GWAR's followers won following prizes:

  • Band of the Year - Lordi
  • Album of the Year ("The Arockalypse")
  • Song of the Year ("Hard Rock Hallelujah")
  • Producer of the Year (Jyrki Tuovinen for "The Arockalypse")
  • Top-Selling Album of the Year ("The Arockalypse")
