Planet X keyboardist Derek Sherinian confirmed that the band's upcoming album shall be entitled "Quantum" and is going to be released in Europe on May 18. "At least we will have it out before "Chinese Democracy"...", the former Dream Theater member added.

Derek is also hard at work writing his sixth solo effort, expected to surface by the end of the year. Besides, he's mixing the upcoming CD by the Greek guitarist Theodore Ziras, and recently played a track on Spanish guitarist Jordi Sandalinas' new record.
