Last night the 22nd annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place in New York. Eddie Vedder, Jay-Z, Keith Richards were among the presenters who inducted Van Halen, R.E.M., The Ronettes, Grandmaster Flash and Patti Smith.

The biggest surprise of the evening was that Van Halen were presented only by their former singer Sammy Hagar and ex-bass player Michael Anthony (on the photo). Original vocalist David Lee Roth stayed away, while founder and guitarist Eddie Van Halen has probably watched the ceremony on TV from rehab...
