Los Angeles' Downset have revealed they've got more than "20 musically written pre-production songs, and 10 of those complete with vocals". The band plans to start the recordings for its fifth studio album this spring.

Downset gained fame mainly thanks to the release of their fourth CD, "Universal" (2004), followed by a huge US tour with Korn, Linkin Park and Snoop Dogg, and a headlining European treck in 2005.
