Metallica have entered studio in Los Angeles this week and began recording their ninth full-length album. The quartet shall lay down 14 songs for the follow-up to "St. Anger" (2003) until June, then take a break for its European tour, and finish the recordings in August. The CD should come out no later than the very beginning of 2008.
