Amazing Journey is an all-star jam project that existed only in order to pay tribute to legendary British rockers The Who. It featured drummer Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater, guitarist Paul Gilbert of Mr. Big and Racer X, bass player Billy Sheehan of Mr. Big and Talas, and vocalist Gary Cherone of Extreme and Van Halen fame.

The quartet's concert from May 31, 2006 at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill has been just released as a 30-song double CD (view front cover above) and DVD, the latter featuring 5 additional bonus tracks and backstage footage from the Amazing Journey show at Whittier, California, on May 27, 2006.
