Italian progressive metallers Eldritch shall release their seventh album, "Blackenday" (view front cover in the left), on April 20 in Europe and on May 8 in the USA via InsideOut Music. The song "Broken Road" features guest appearances by Ray Alder (Fates Warning, Engine, Redemption) and Nicholas Van Dyk (Redemption), while on all the other tracks on the CD we can hear Laura Scappini of In Memory doing the backup vocals.

Sometime later in the year Eldritch are supposed to release a live album recorded during the quintet's gigs in Livorno and Milano on October 6-7, 2006.
