Brit rockers Supergrass have revealed that they are to make an imminent return to the studio to record new material. Predicting that the process will be finished in a little over a month, the band said they're aiming for an "energetic sound" for their new record, which will be their first since 2005's "Road to Rouen".

Lead singer Gaz Coombes explained: "Over the last few months we've been writing new stuff. We're off to Berlin in a couple of weeks to do the recordings and it's going to be a quick session, two or three weeks, and just knock it out as fast as we can."
