US metallers Iced Earth have parted ways with solo guitar player Tim Mills. According to frontman Jon Schaffer, "Tim is the founder of Bare Knuckle Pickups and that is his main business. He has found that his main worker, his right-hand man as it were, is terminally ill with cancer... Of course him living in the U.K. and the band living in the States makes things more challenging as well..."

Tim's final guitar play shall be heard on the re-recording of the "Something Wicked" trilogy (consisting of the songs "Prophecy", "Birth of the Wicked" and "The Coming Curse"), due to appear on the upcoming "Overture of the Wicked" single in June.
